there is about a 100 year supply of guns in the United States... and only about a 2 year supply of ammo. To further emphasize that perspective, I have noticed that price sensitivity in raw materials (namely brass, copper, etc) usually drives up the cost of ammo more than firearms, at least on a % basis.
There is simple equipment to build your own primers, and recipes for the mix....

I left the dentist and drove straight to my local gunshop to buy another pistol. It was still closed when I got there, yet there was a long line of men waiting for the store to open. $hit had hit the fan.... If ferrin troops had hit the our soil that day, I'm betting that store, and all others selling guns and or ammo would be sold out or ransacked, in the first day.........So, over the last two years I've stockpiled primers, buying them whenever I found primers to buy in bulk. I recommend anyone who reloads, do the same....Jeff
jeff100-I think our worries will come from "within". Ever think about our local Law Enforcement taking firarms from citizens in the wake of Katrina? Those same citizens that were only defending thier property.....
I'm with you Jeff, but I would add, what we will be seeing is the loss of more and more rights, sort of a 'chipping away'.
Washington State ConstitutionSECTION 2 SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND. The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land.SECTION 24 RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself, or the state, shall not be impaired...
