Just in case you aren't smart enough to figure it out and need the government to help you, it might not be a good idea to go swimming in the Methow.  :)

Have a good trip!   It ought to be beautiful up there.

There was a thread on here about how stupid people were trying to tube the rivers that were flooding.  The governement felt the need to close rivers for rafting or swimming because people weren't smart enough to figure out you shouldn't try to swim in these rivers at flood stage.   I figure with recent snowmelt and rains, the Methow, though it probably peeked last weekend, ought to be flowing pretty good.    Had nothing to do with birds, but any topic abouthte Methow gets me excited.  Home is HOME.  I know Kirk is pretty familiar with it up there.
