New To Mule Deer And Would Like A Partner
« on: May 25, 2008, 08:06:20 PM »

Hello all.  I have lived in WA since 1998.  I am still not that familar with the hunting areas.  I have had a little success with one whitetail buck, one mule deer buck and a few other non antlered animals.  Not the best success in the world, but I think most of it is due to the fact that I don't know the areas that well.  I was hoping to meet some new people on here that would be willing to team up to go hunting this year.  I would especially like to hunt some high country mule deer.  I would be willing to pay for the entire trip (including gas   :twocents: ) for the extra knowledge and opportunity.  Anyone interested, just let me know.

Thanks,

My advice Bowshooter would be to chat with everyone on here and take good notes. You will find some "VERY KNOWLEDGABLE" and more impotantly "humble" hunters on this site and if you pay close attention most wuestions you have will be or have been answered. Unless you post naked, tattoo pics of yourself :bdid: you should be just fine :chuckle: Sorry LT couldn't resist :lol4: Love ya brotha!!

Yes, I would love to do the Sept hunt.  I went over to Republic for the first time last year (I need to get in better shape this year if I do that again lol).   Almost all of my other hunting has been over near Yakima.  I have also been on some one time hunts with some of my brothers friends in the Clockum and Wenatchee areas.  That has been it for the most part.

Thanks

If you've been chasing muleys in Yakima county you'll definately want to switch locals.  Head to eithe Chelan or Okanogan county or Ferry.  I could probably point you in the right direction on a few areas worthy of checking out, send me a pm if interested.
