I know a couple little businesses over there that are hoping the wetsiders (and especailly their wallets) come storming over!!  Hope the guys try to give some of those smaller stores and service stations over there a little business.  Nice people and they could sure use  it this year.

:yeah: Very true! The Conoco station in Mae Valley makes a large part of its revenue for the entire year on Memorial Weekend from Westside folks in the ORV park.

Boy are they ever hoping all you coasties hurry and get over here! They have been saving up all there "Must Have" items....and gimmicks! None of us from the east side are dumb enough to buy them.....so they depend on the wallets of the coastie to pour out large sums of cash!! Funny, I think we would do just fine if everyone stayed in their own county!

Remember Cle Elum is the Indian term for "Stop and Pee".  Have to admit it's fun people watching at the Safeway prior to opening season.

Now that's funny about the new Camo you're "sporting " in the grocery store.

Most people go to the Eastside to hunt in the dry.  Most years you can hunt a whole week and not see rain or snow.  It is also the camping, hiking and getting away from home, minimum 3 hour drive.  We mostly camp and hike getting a deer is a bonus.  Then we go back home and get our blacktail cause for the most part they are pretty easy to hunt where we are, if you know where to go and have permission to hunt.
