Not sure on the brand of the barrel, it is custom built for these rifles for magnum research. Here is what the net says on it.

Match-grade, hand-lapped, cut-rifled barrel for optimum bullet stabilization.
Custom-contoured and crowned to significantly reduce vibration and enhance accuracy.
Manufactured to exacting "Bench Rest" quality tandards.
.004" head space tolerance.

The barrel is 24" without the break a little over 26" with the break.

interesting.. maybe they make their own barrel?

Would be interesting to see what kind of barrel they buy if outsourced.. i.e. Hart, Douglas, Krieger..etc..

Just kidding about the remington part or about the puke part?

The puke! :chuckle: I think I have 7 remingtons if I remember right. Getting hard to keep track 8) But I do like the sako actions way better.

I'm happy you got the sako action then.
I'm less interested now that they are changing to remington...

Yep seems like a lot of the companies that are making "more custom guns" are using the remington action :puke:  :chuckle: Like christensen arms. I was going to buy one of there rifles but they want 700.00 more to upgrade to the sako action :bdid:
