Sherman Bear Down
« on: May 24, 2011, 01:06:29 PM »
Well this ended up being a great hunt.  We hunted for a day and a half saw 7 bears and got 2 nice turkeys.  I ended up shooting this bear on the 2nd morning of the hunt.  Its the first bear that I have killed and I am happy with it.  I think that I may be hooked on bear hunting now.  I hunted with WAZZU99 and Cascade on this hunt and they made it easy for me.  I am not a small guy yet they drug me all over the mountains not to mention made me run a marathon to get in range of this bear and get a shot.  :bdid:  I haven't been able to walk right since Saturday, but I have to thank these two for helping me out.

Its about time!  Good first bear but you should have shot the first boar we found up top, I think he was an inch or two bigger!  However, we might still be in there.

Nice bear! Did Wazzu and Cascade bring their stove that runs on whiskey along with them? :chuckle:
