best place togo in little naches is BUGLE 'N BASIN  its where i go every year.you turn drive along the river  take the 2 left past the 4th campground go all the way to end theres a small area to park  you will see a trail  follow  it turn up the 3rd ridge on the east end  head up you will be able to see the basin elk are there off and on during the day down hill all the way out to the bronco

Thanks everyone for the input, After looking the area over I decided it would be better for me to wait and road hunt the winston with my co-workers. I don't get around as well as use to. Little naches looks too hard to road hunt. I'm glad i have the multiseason tag I hear winston has alot of elk.

I wish there was someway to trade tags because I would trade you my Winston cow tag for you Naches bull tag.  Anyways, you might want to rethink that because you have an eastside tag, so you cant hunt elk on the westside.

Ok,Ok I get the feeling some people are not being very friendly. I just wanted to reply since I asked for help back in June. Whats the big deal? A tag is a tag. Becides I like the November time frame better (you know meat can spoil in the warmer weather). Anyways if anyone is interested in sharing info on hunting the winston I have some good contacts.

The multi season only allows him to hunt modern, muzzleloader and archery on the eastside because he has an eastside tag. He doesnt have a westside tag, so there is no way for him to hunt the Winston unit.

One of my buddies has the same tag this year and said he wouldnt settle for anything less than 330, even though he has seen a few bigger bulls while scouting.

Multi-season elk tag allows you to hunt both sides of the state. The multi-season tag is neither a westside nor an eastside tag.

Well now I'm having second thoughts on postponeing my hunting trip to hunt that winston unit. Now my co-worker said he doesn't have room for me :( Does anybody know some good roads in there that you can see elk. Also I'm not sure how to get into the unit, is the access in mosyrock? I think next year I'm going to apply from that margaret unit I hear its good road hunting. Thanks everyone this is a nice place for info.
