Anybody got wolves on trail cams in the Yakima units?

With all the trail cams, wolves would get photo'd if they are there, wouldn't they?

(I'm not picking a wolf fight;   I wish the season was 24/7/365.     I just think they'd show up on cams.)

yes

Heard of "a guy" with pics of wolf den with pups on the Yakima Reservation just recently.  I encouraged him to report them to WDFW.

Heard wolves howling up in the Taneum this weekend. Camped in a spot that had about 15-20 piles of hairy poop. seemed like it was too big for yotes.

The howling was definitely not coyote though. Heard 2 distinct animals howling, one on each side of us. They must have liked the full moon.

To get closer for a picture of course.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Dale Could we possibly raise the wolf count (158+). If someone just periodically checked this thread it might be miss leading since the number hasn't been updated in quite a long time.

2 wolves spotted across Highway 2 from the rest area about 3 miles from the Lake Wenatchee turnoff at Coles Corner some time last week. Hoping to get a copy of the photo that was submitted to the state at some point. According to the contact who submitted the photo, the wolves have been confirmed by WDFW (for whatever that's worth). Guess I'll have to be a little more weary of my surroundings in the woods this summer and fall over in that area.

3 out of the last 4 years we've heard/seen them during the high hunt in that general area.
