I have hunted the Methow since I was a kid but haven't really seen much for Bobs

I live in Monroe, My hunting partner lives in Pateros.. We have hunted from Winthrop- Pateros, Entiat to Okangan.. Bridgport to Jameson Lake and as far east as Banks lake... Since he lives there we hunt Deer, coyotes, quial, chuckar, Rattlesnakes, pheasant, and Bear.. as well as anything else we can when in season.. we have just never really seen any Bobcat.. I spend probably about 6-7 weekends a year there not counting deer season which gives me a week.. for me hunting camp is 1800 sq ft. my own room, satilite tv, recliner, and dinner nigthly.. My wife just laughs and asks why don't I go camp, my response is WHY?.. we both were talking last week and decided we both want to try and get a Bobcat.. I also want a Cougar, he has 2 one from around Antilon lake and 1 from the chiliwist.. I had a shot at 1 a few years ago but would have been shooting at him in his truck as he came up the road.. thanks again

The ones I've shot have been in the winter. I've seen one during bear season, but I called that one in with a mouth call when calling bears.

Dont need to hit the methow for bobs Reese, should be some in the woods round where you are at now! See tracks of some big coug and bobkitties around the methow...had a coug cross the road in front of my truck a few years back at night, by sweet grass...

Best of luck to you!
