Scouting in GMU 560 this weekend
« on: July 14, 2011, 08:42:06 AM »
I'll be scouting around where the 23Rd. and the 8810 Rd. meet, within a few miles either way and along the PCT. If anyone wants to join me, I'd love to have the company. Send me a PM

I've hunted that exact area the last 6 years archery, I still get into elk every year but noticed the deer numbers way down.. let us know how it goes. I was up there last weekend but only to hike sleeping beauty with the family, saw a few elk and deer right off the road on our way out at about 10:00am...

will do. I haven't hunted that area for about 6 or 7 years, so I may be making a mistake by moving from where we're at now.

I don't hunt that unit but went to mt si golf course the other day and there were elk everywhere.  Kinda reminded me of packwood.
