See?  Mathews bows are so good even people you wouldn't normally associate with shooting a bow can do it.  You mistook "limp wrist" with relax your grip on the bow handle.  Of course, there is so much hand shock with that bowtech you bought it'll just jump out of your hand if you don't hang on tight.

I've been shooting a hoyt for the past 6 months and I really like it. There's no way I'm going to spend the money and get a Matthew's.  :twocents:

now that I have a sling attached to my bowtech I really like all that hand shock, I don't have to walk as far to retrieve arrows.

I'm shooting a Martin Firecat and have had no complaints.  A little noisier than some and a bit of a hard rollover but it's killed a lot of animals and has never let me down. That's my  :twocents:

Yeah a hoyt would be a good starter bow.  Does not belong in the same category as a bowtech or mathews.  Shoot a hoyt if you want to be ......

The airlines lost my bow on a trip to West Virginia for an NFAA hunt way back when.  A guy in camp said he had a Root I could shoot.  I said, "I don't give a crap what it's made of as long as it shoots!"  After only a half dozen practice shots I killed my best whitetail ever on the run at 35 yards with it.  Sometimes name just doesn't matter.

I've never been a fan of single cam bows, but this new Bear Assault just seems to hit everything I aim at.  I punch the trigger, creep, shoot in a rush to kill the mosquito on my nose and still the arrows are in the spot.  I'm starting to feel as though it is possessed by some target hungry freak.  I think I'll keep it for a while.

Put a Loesch grip on an Invasion CPX and am liking it pretty good too.  One heck of a backup to the Bear.

Sometimes I think these Hoyt guys feel so guilty for spending all that money on a heavy dog they have to talk it up to make themselves feel better  :whoo:

Oops, I thought we were joking around.  Now some Cameron Hanes wannabe is going to kick my a**! :P
