I think more of the issue is where the fire is located. It is along the trail used to access the area. In October, it should be fine. But if someone were to want to bear hunt or deer hunt now or in the next few weeks, they would have to find new ways in. There are lots of firetrucks and a few helicopters working in the area. The helicopters have been getting water from the high lakes. Also heard that the area burned/burning is closer to 400 acres now.
Use this link:www.inciweb.org/incident/2599They are supposed to list what roads/trails will be closed. The fire is now over 600 acres. They measure the fire early in the mornings...before the hot, dry air moves in for the day causing it to grow.
