Trying to figure out the fire danger
«

I'm fairly new to bow hunting. I hunt the coweeman. Well I was till today. Headed down to coast area on Sunday. My question is : the temps look like mid 70's by middle of next week. Is that enough to re open hunting or is it going to have to rain? I've never experienced this type of closure before.

Normally when it gets to the point of complete closures to access on most all private timberland, they don't open it back up to hunting until the rain starts. Cooler temperatures probably won't be enough to change anything.

Thanks Bobcat. Looks like I'll stay down at coast then.

Not sure where you are going but Sierra Pacific's Ryderwood tree farm is now closed to public entry as of this afternoon.
