Coyote Madness III?
« on: September 15, 2011, 06:24:15 AM »
Well boys......it's about getting that time again.

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

I've called, got anwers, got 'em coming in, but haven't shot one yet.  We could form the "maybe next time" team!  :'(  :chuckle:

Not sure if we will be doing one this year, the site has to have a permit to run it. So until we get the permits I am not sure if we will be doing one. Same for the waterfowl contest and such.

ummm when did this happen?  the state decided it had too many forums with people getting along and having fun so they need to capitalize on it?  and if this is true why dont we need a permit for the photo contests?  the horns and coyote never paid it was just some braggin rights and a few tokens donated by other members?

A permit for a site to show pictures of coyote kills, and a tally of how many?
I think it's time to tell these bureaucrat  :crap: heads to take a hike off a high cliff!

Yeah I gotta say, this is the first I've heard of this (needing a permit). But maybe I just haven't been paying attention. Not sure why a permit would be needed. And as runamuk said, there is no money or prizes involved.

It's like the first Construction Superintendant I worked for told me years ago:  "You let them put the saddle on you once, and they're gonna ride you!".

I know- we just won't call it a "contest". We can still post pictures, and keep track of points per team. But it's not a contest because there's no prize.
