Jeez, I've been waiting for years for Chuck to do bobcats for me....... Good taxi choice.
So having shot a bobcat recently I am curious, what makes cats so much harder to mount then other animals? From the taxidermists point of view......
looks like someone is missing their housecat MuleySniper. seriously though it looks awesome, sure wish I didn't shoot mine in the face.
I understand that the face is the difficult part of the mount, but what makes it any different then another game animal mount? Is it because of the amount of hair and the length of it makes attaching the hide to the form more complex? I dont know if you have to add material to the form to get the hide to fill out against the form so the fur will be in a natural laying position. I have seen some terrible cat mounts before but never understood what made the face so difficult. Just curious.
