I was a road hunter today with my father who cant hike out in the woods anymore. and we were in the same area only saw one 4x4 that was shot. Saw 2-- 2x2's and a ton of does. This was a very slow start compared to last year. We didnt have any trouble on the roads. very slick but put her in 4 low and went slow. we were all over the swakane and entiat units today. Only deer we saw were on the cashmere side of the swakane. not a deer to be seen on the roads we were traveling. LOTS OF ORANGE!!

Tomorrow's the day to find the little unhunted pockets. I heard more shots and saw more bucks harvested on the 2nd day than the first, really. Best of luck to you!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

The509, just be carefull on those roads up top when they are slick.  We have seen more than one rig off the side up there over the years.  I grew up hunting that country and still do when I can draw the Entiat archery tag.  Always nice to hunt your "back yard" when you are growing up.  Nice find with the camera.
