« on: October 18, 2011, 05:39:40 PM »
OK you guys and gals, 3 of my group have quality tags this year.  1 Entiat, 1 Chiwawa and 1 Swakane.(All Modern) We have a lot of experience in these units but lets help these guys fill there tags with some quality bucks! They will all be putting in the time and effort necessary. As the rut progresses let us know if you would like to help or offer a tip. Thanks, Dan.

Patience is key with those permits, all great areas! Lots of deer to glass, observe, and pick out just the right one! Have fun!!!!!! Best time of year to be out there!

I finally drew the Chiwawa tag myself on 7 points! I have been getting a little concerned hearing all the talk about low dear numbers, predators and the utter lack of Weather that we are looking at for the next 15+ days! Wondering if this is going to turn into a high hunt or a bust?! I'm trying to stay as positive as possible as this will be my first hunt with my son! Best of luck to everyone that drew a late tag! See you up there perhaps...

My brother and I have late Manson tags...at least we aren't all in competition.  I hope the weather turns nasty so the deer move.  Gotta love the late rut hunts! IMO they are as good here as any state!
