Also, consider that you will hear about more issues with Leupold than other brands of similar quality, just because the sample size is larger-my grandfather was using Leupold scopes in the 1940's (and they are still covered by the same warrantee as the one I got 2 weeks ago.
How many folks love Lieca? I do. Just as much as my Leupolds. Guess what, I have had one Lieca product (a range finder) and if failed on me. I had to return it, and they took great care of me - upgrading me a product level. I guess by the logic of some here, because I had an issue with Lieca I should say they make crummy products? I compared my Burris Fullfied to my kids leopold vari x II and it was no comparison. Unfortunately it was an early light deal and with the Burris i could barely make out the shapes of elk.With my kids Leopold I could tell every one were cows. Dumped that Burris.
Only took 8 days from the day I sent my scope in to leupold to the day i got it back rebuilt, and cleaned to like new condition that was customer service
Let me ask you guys this.....how many times do people tell you that there scope is still good?...hardly ever....
