Good work. Wife got hers tuesday jan 3rd. Bout same size. Fun hunt. Day one didnt see much garbage along the roads. Yesterday noticed beer cans accumulated along the roads. Hope people start paying attention to this. Could shut it down for good.

I'm interested to see how many cows they took out of the Toledo and Winston with all the special permits.I think I counted up a total of 690 permits possible for theose 2 units.Which all come out of the Winston if you think about it.

Hope they dont do this again next year.

I would really like to find out how many Cows were taken out of Winston during this hunt. I wonder if they will have it broke down and let us know sooner than having it in the gamebook??

The harvest reports are usually available online just before the special permit application deadline, if I remember correctly. So look for it around mid-May.

They are trying to completely clean out that unit...  Sad really....  Why are they doing this, is it WEYCO's lobbying?  It is not management, there's plenty of feed in there for the elk.

Go to STEWARTS MEAT MARKET in McKenna to get all of your meat done!!

I say do it yourself and you will be much happier.

AND NEVER take game to Stewarts. You will eventually regret it. Trust me.

Congrats on your cow and time in the woods with family.

Yelm, nice job on the cow.  I really hope you guys pushed the gutpile off to the side of the road and didn't leave laying in the middle as can be seen in the picture.  Spur road or not, just common courtesy

Yes Weyco is pushing for the increased numbers. And Olympia is buying into the lopsided numbers.
