I got to hunt Padilla Bay for Brant on Saturday the 28th; we got our quota by noon. I was using my salt water shotgun a Biakal.

Nice job. Those are cool looking birds. Never see those over here.

Nice!  I've gotten my Brant permit for a bunch of years but never got a chance to go.  I haven't even waterfowl hunted the last two years though.  I'd still like to get one sometime.  I see them quite frequently out in Rosario Strait.

Wow, thats a great couple of birds there.  Did you have a bunch of decoys out there, or wing shoot them?  I am thinkink about giving it a try next season.

Nice haul!  I was up there just looking around with a friend on Saturday morning.  Talked to one of the WDFW officers who happend to have his boat attached to his truck.  Apparently he'd been out checking some of the Brant hunters.  He said it should be a good harvest that day as conditions were right with the tides.  Apparently he was right!
