It's always been that way and I don't see them changing it this year.
Um......no it hasn't ALWAYS been that way BOB, get your facts strait.
OK, maybe not ALWAYS but how far back do you want to go?

Doesn't matter how far back you need to go Bob, the FACT is that it has not ALWAYS been the same. You always come on here and speak as an expert, as someone that knows for a fact what you are saying is correct. There are a lot of people on here that don't know what the truth is and for you to state is as fact is irresponsible and misleading.

Posting opinions are everyone's privilege on this site, but it should be posted as opinion, and not gospel if you really don't know what the truth is. :twocents:

We've been over this at nauseam Bob, I've no desire to discuss things with a closed minded liberal again.

If you really have to ask me why I want the starting date the 20th rather than the 13th then you really don't understand hunting in this state and its a waist of time trying to explain it.

For the rest of you, in my opinion adding 5 days to the front of the season does nothing for our hunt except give the perception that WDFW are listening and trying to help.

Is this true?  It's not a question and I don't see a  :twocents:  ;)

agree.  It looks nice on paper to see 'Wow, look at all that season'...but I've always seen the best blacktail activity during the wetside modern elk season.  11 day elk season and I see probably 5X the amount of BT compared to 31 days of modern deer (of which the 4 day late season has the most).  I know the season is set to be in the game's favor not the hunter's.
