Oregon Spring Bear Drawing

Going to the Blues to hunt bear in the Mt. Emily unit. Should be a blast, I just hope I can find a few sheds while I am there!

Good luck to you! I know there is some monster bulls to be laying some sheds down in that country  One of my clients that is going to new zealand this year has a big chuck of ground in that unit. He said if I could ever draw a tag I would wet my pants when I saw some of the bulls on his place :'( Only in my wet dreams :chuckle: I stopped putting in because of the major price jack a couple years ago.

The unit has a few giants in it! My wife is in the frustrating position of having 14 points for elk and not being able to draw a Mt. Emily tag!! Oregon is the lamest for sure with regard to non-resident hunters, and yes they jacked up the prices of everything!
At least a bear tag is only $150, but they sure nail you with the hunt license at $140....it never seems to stop going up now days.

For sure. It's still not that expensive. I was getting tired of never even using my license to hunt with.
