Came home with a Mathews (mikexray)
« on: July 27, 2008, 07:41:13 AM »
Finally shot new bows while getting my Hoyt Magnatec tuned up and came home with a new mathews. I shot a bunch of bows and decided on the drenaline. Shot the DXT a lot and just couldn't get used to the compact size. Felt like a toy. So I got the drenaline, spot hogg 5 pin and I'm going to try the whisker biscuit even though I like trophy drop aways. I preferred the smoothness of the mathews. Quite an upgrade and I'm excited. Will be a little more prepared for my bull permit Sept 8.

Hey Mike where did you buy your Mathews at?  I am looking at buying a new bow and wanted to shoot the drenaline, the drenaline ld, and the dxt.  In the next few days I'll be stopping by Sportsmen's Warehouse to check out the Bowtech Guardian and General and then off to Great Northwest Archery to check out some Hoyt's.
