Thought I'd give my $.02 on the Kuiu gear I have. I only had this stuff for modern elk season last year so this is my initial impressions;
Chugach Jacket and Pants - Really, really good raingear. It's lightweight, packs down into a very small size, breathes fairly well and is pretty quiet for raingear. I was actually hoping it would be a little quieter but it's totally acceptable to me. If I'm creeping along really slowly it won't be the noise from my raingear that gives me away. Especially in the conditions I would be wearing these in. May be a little loud for bow hunters but I don't bow hunt and couldn't say for sure. It was a pretty dry elk season this last year (by westside standards) so I didn't really get to put these through the ringer but in the few times it did rain hard I stayed bone dry in them. My only knock would be that I wish the pants had at least 1 or 2 pockets.
Guide Jacket - Absolutely love this jacket! Fit and finish are top notch and the jacket just works well for so many conditions. I could wear this in 60 degree temps with a t-shirt underneath on a sunny day, I could wear this in a light rain or I could layer up and wear it down to any temps we get on the westside. The DWR finish did repel water fairly well and didn't seem to wet out.
Attack Pants - Another great product from Kuiu. These may be the most comfortable pair of pants that I've ever put on! The fit, which I know is subjective, is perfect for me and feels like that pants were custom tailored. These are fairly lightweight and I was wearing a base layer under them all during elk season, but that's something I really like about them. They could easily be worn in September by themselves or in November with a base layer (at least here on the westside).
Merino 250 top and bottom - I had never worn merino wool before and I have to say, this stuff is amazing! It keeps you warm when your cold but stays cool when you get hot. It dries fairly quickly, breathes really well and it doesn't get funky like Under Armour. I used to wear Under Armour exclusively but will NEVER wear it again hunting. Merino wool is just head and shoulders better IMO. Under Armour is now just for cold days on the golf course. My only knock on these is I wish the tops didn't have a zipper. When I'm layered up I have these tops, a long sleeve shirt, a vest, a coat, then blaze orange. That's like 5 zippers under my chin. I'd love these tops without the zipper.
Guide Glove - I'm not a glove guy at all. I really don't like to wear them unless I'm sitting and my hands get really cold. Unfortunately, my hands seem to get cold a lot when I'm sitting. So I picked up a pair of these gloves and really like them. They're fairly weatherproof like the jacket, and the palms are made with a tacky sort of material that gives you really good grip in wet conditions. They're not too heavy so you do still have some dexterity with them on. I thought the gloves ran just a tad small so if you're thinking of ordering some and are in between sizes, I would say go up to the larger size.
Guide Beanie - Nice hat. Doesn't seem to be quite as weather resistant as the coat and gloves but it's a nice warm hat. I thought this too ran a tad small (which works good for me). I wear around 6 7/8 - 7 in a fitted ball cap and this fit me well. But, if you were a 7 1/2 or larger I could see this being really tight.
Merino 185 Beanie - This is a nice layer to wear if it's cool but not cold enough for the Guide Beanie. Or if it's really cold I wear this under my guide beanie.
Merino 185 Neck Gaitor - Picked this up when they were on sale. It serves it's purpose and helps shields my 10 days at elk camp, unshaven neck from the 5 zippers I spoke of earlier!

All in all I absolutely love my Kuiu gear and have had great customer service from them as well. On my first order I couldn't make up my mind on what size and color I wanted in a couple items. Called and changed my order twice before it shipped. The lady wasn't annoyed, like she had every right to be, and was nothing but helpful. My order showed up and the next day I got a phone call from the lady I placed my order with. She said "I know we made a couple changes to your order and I just wanted to make sure that everything was right". It was and I was even more impressed! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for new gear. I know I'll be buying more from them once their shelves are stocked again!
