If you look closely, there is 2 Ling Cod on one hook on my pipe jig, Pretty cool when they are hitting left and right !!



I had to let Kris hold one of my Ling Cod since I accidentally forgot the net and when I tried to grab his Ling it came unbuttoned and swam away !!




OH Yeah, we also seen a gray whale !!

Nice looking fish.  Great weather to be out in.  The 10 day forecast isn't looking so good going forward.

Great looking lings.  Man I want to get after them again.  Its been about 5 years since I was able to get out and get me some.  Maybe this year maybe next.  Good job, keep up the good work and the good pictures.

Nice wish I could have made it out there. You are the first one I have seen use circle hooks on a pipe jig, that would be nice on the rock pile

Ya know, I had never seen them used on pipe jigs either and I had a pile of them lying around and seen other hooks were EXPENSIVE so I thought what the heck I'll try em and I'm sold, they actually work really good and like I was telling cohoho that I never got hung up in the rocks even once tight enough to break the line off, just wiggle it a few times and it came right off the bottom. It was good enough that when I felt the rocks down there I could leave it bounce around down there instead of having to quickly get it out of there to avoid snagging the bottom and lose my jigs !!

I'll be making more pipe jigs here shortly and yep Circle "C" hooks are goin on them !!

Not my boat, but I saw you runnin around. My boat is all natural(silver).  We where under the gun on time so kept first 6 keepers. Biggest maybe 15lbs, didnt weigh them though.
