It was an eventfull weekend of fishing to say the least..The fish were there and we all found them.Ruff water made for tuff fishing friday and sat,but sunday and monday morning was perfect..we limited sunday,10 fish monday,1 bass short of a limit saturday,And I cant recall friday  :chuckle: .Had a blast, met Kenzmad's Father and their friend dave, and his son a big shout out to him for sering our country.,great folks, shared a fire and some beverages..Big Thank you to all of them for the help they gave us.Woodman put us on the fish. And put up with my snoaring...Though the fishing was awesome and the fellowship with friends, the highlights will be left for Woodman to tell.If he strays from the truth we will set it right :chuckle: :chuckle:  didnt get many pics

As the title says - OK Rasbo. I guess I will get this over with and try to not make it too boring.

Rasbo showed up at my home early Friday morning and we headed out to have a great day and great weekend of fishing at Neah Bay.

Well we were driving my motor home and towing my 23' Trophy boat behind it. We left when it was just getting light during rush hour traffic. We were going down the 512 freeway and I looked in my rear view mirror and happened to see my boat trying to pass us on the drivers side of the motor home at 60 miles per hour. The boat had come unhooked, thank god for safety chains. I am so glad that no one was hurt and no other vehicles were touched either, it could have become a tragedy with what was going on. I would guess that the cars right next to us were trying to get the heck out of the way. My first thought was what the heck! I slowly pulled over to the side of the freeway and my boat decided to give my motor home a new rear window, I did not think that I needed one but I sure have one right now. It was still just early in the morning and we quickly re hooked things up and had to waited for about 300 cars go by before we could get back out onto the freeway and get going.

Later on up a few miles away we ran into where there was a land slide across the road. There was a state patrolman there controlling the situation. He told me to go ahead and go through it, he thought that we would be fine. Short story on this, it cut one of my duals and we had a blow out. We had to wait for a couple of hours for AAA to get a service truck out to us with an impact wrench to get the tire changed. Well we finally got to Neah Bay and got set up and I realized that my fishing license was at home on my dresser so I had to get a new one printed out up there. That is the story that Rasbo and Kenzmad are talking about. I can tell you that ten years ago I would have had a melt down over this. I have insurance for all of this and the claim has been made. All will end well and we did have a great weekend. As Rasbo said, we caught fish and spent time with great guys.

After all that happened, I really was not frazzled. I guess that I just am getting older and my rough edges are getting worn off a little.

Good job guys, sorry to hear about the vehicle issues, always something when it comes to pulling a boat and fishing.  Never as simple as it should be...
