Best archery shop around Olympia?

I would like to get my bow restrung and ready for hunting season. Any recommendations for the best shop around Olympia?

The only one I knew of in Olympia has been closed for several years.  The next closest and the one I would recomend in Luck Shot Archery in Chehalis.

I have used Fletchsetter in Rainier and have been very pleased!

Fletchsetter is the way to go! He will hook you up and is very knowledgeable about the regs and how to set you up for success

If a person were to open one up in Olympia/Tumwater where would you like it located - close to where Olympic was or somewhere else?

I went into Fletch Setters once, the guy was sitting there BSing with one of his buddies and seemed annoyed that I walked through the door.  He was very unfriendly.  A buddie of mine had a similar experience, I will never return and would not recommend him to anyone.   :bdid:

This is weird to hear. I have never experienced that with the owner. Maybe its because every time I come in, he knows I am going to spend some money  :chuckle:

I've had this experience in a number of bow shops.  A buddy and I often joke about the "bow shop groupies" that seem to flock to bow shops.

Everyone has a bad day. Do you want personality and a smiley face or do you want an exceptional technician working on your equipment? Screw the smile; I want my bow right!

My favorite bow guy snapped at me on the phone one day. I got a little torqued for about 5 seconds and then realized that I like his work and I can depend on him to keep my bow right. Now, I just kiddingly call him grumpy and he still does all of my work.

I had the same thing happen to me right after Fletchsetter opened up but since then I have had nothing but good luck with him!  He has set up a couple of bows for me and does a great job!  If you show up a week before season and want your bow worked on in a hurry he might get a little cranky with you.  All in all, I highly recommend Fletchsetter.
