Good Chessie Breeder?

A friend of mine at work had to put down his Chessie yesterday, very unexpected. Can you recommend a good breeder?

Contact HappyGilmore on here he has a couple and knows a TON about chessies.. He could likely point you in the direction of a good breeder with some planned litters.

Not a lot out there at the moment to talk about in regards to Chessie litters. I'll likely be breeding my female to Dom's (Nordom) male in June if all goes as planned. Last breeding did not take.
Be wise for them to find a breeder they like and get on a waiting list. Due to a few breedings in the area that did not take last fall,(including my own female) most breeders have yet to fill their last litters deposits. So, it will be unlikely that a good breeding will have any pups available come Sept. at least locally.
For whatever reason, almost all the females around here are on similar heat cycle schedules. Late fall and early summer.

I would highly recommend Nordom also. From what I have read here Happy Gilmore knows his Chesapeakes and his choosing one of Dom and Norene's dogs as a potential sire speaks volumes. Rebel (Dom's male) is one impressive stud. I have heard some unbelievable stories about his field work. I graduated with their oldest son from high school (1987) and have admired their dogs long before that. I am on my fourth Chesapeake (2nd from Nordom) and she is a dandy. She is a product of Rebel and Money. I really couldn't be happier with her. She has a birdiness that defies logic.
I chuckled when I read "Are they 100% sure they want another Chessie?" I equate that to asking 99.9% of the men on the planet if they really want to marry a woman. Hell yes! The other gender simply isn't an option. Neither is another retriever breed.
