Looking for a good pack that carries a bow
« on: May 06, 2012, 11:21:50 PM »
Hey all I am looking to buy a new pack before this upcoming archery season and want something that is set up to strap my bow into for hiking in in the morning and out at night. Other pack needs is big enough to carry enough supplies for a day or two and possibly haul out some meat with that first trip. Any suggestions?

Bungee cords will work on just about any pack, plus they have a million and one uses.

Check out Nimrod packs.  You can customize their pack system a little to fit your needs.  Made in Washington to I believe.

I'm a huge fan of Eberlestock. Especially the X2. Mine is comfortable as can be even with weight. You can attach a butt-bucket and ripcord to it and carry your bow on your back but get to it very quickly.
