Buddy of mine muzzleloader bull from 07
«
on:
August 06, 2008, 12:19:47 AM »
New to the site (a couple weeks) hope to upload a couple pics of my deer. But these picks are better than my lil' bucks and I had them on my email so I figure i could break the ice with'em. Shot on private land near kapowin. 26 inch dagger. I'm going with him this year hope to kill my first bull. Any score guesses?

Awesome looking roosy bull. I'd say you are one lucky guy to be getting to go with him this year.

Man....that's a beautiful Bull. Awesome!! Reguardless if he's gonna mount that thing or not there's Taxi's that would pay a pretty good chunk of change for a big ol' Roosy cape off a mature Bull. Almost pains me to see.

I can't say for sure I will be talking to him tomorrow, but.... I think it was 343? I will find out. I can't believe he decided to european mount it either. I think his excuse was he didn't have a space in his house to do a shoulder mount
But I am excited to go this fall.

Thanks Dave for postin' some great pic's. This pic was taken after changin' my clothes three times gettin' the bull out in the rain. He is a dandy. He did score 340 greenscore, but after dry and measured it was 333 after deductions. 43 " inside spread. 22 inch daggers and one front was @ 20 ". His over all height was 49 " on the main beam !... Man it was exciting when I shot him, I got on him, he was still alive, he lifted his head a couple times in the trees, and it was a monster , his rack was so heavy , his head just wabbled back to the ground . So I finished him off @ 10 yrds ...
Good luck all, Dave and I should have some luck this year. But I think I will just take a cow again this year... WHEW !
Late,
Tony H
