no there not i got permission for the WDFW to remove the  Nuisance animal. the night before they killed my cat on my front porch. so this is a legal kill.  i am also getting my trappers lisence so i can deal with the rest of the family.

You know you really do not need permission from WDFW to kill problem wildlife if it is on your own property and it is doing damage.

That is correct, however, you are then supposed to contact WDFW to let them know you did the deed.  Best just to quietly wack those troublemakers....  Too bad deer don't fall into that category.   :chuckle:  CB's are nice but can mushroom on the back of their (coons) thick skulls.

I will back you up on the cat issue.... My wife had a kitten once and at around 2am I hear this loud screaming going off at my front door ...I run down the steps with no gun or anything and when I opened the door this huge arz coon had her kitten cornered ..I tried scaring it of but it would not leave ... I then run upstairs crab my bow , screw on a broadhead and run back down the stairs ...We had this fir tree right in front of our house ..I hear the kitten still screaming but now its at the top of the tree ,, I could see the coon and I had enough light to see threw my peep so I whacked it and it landed right on top of my wifes hood  :yike: :chuckle: :chuckle: Seriously !!!! left alittle dent but saved her kitty... she was happy I did that .... :dunno: and another thing I would do with neighborhood opposums is take a plate full of scrapes and place it under my fir tree in back and sit there at my kitchen table with bow in hand and leave the slider cracked open just enough so I could get an arrow threw it ......works really well ...cant remember  how many I whacked but it was a few !

ha ha ya  when i was little i remember seeing 3 raccoons tearing apart a cat, one coon was by the cats head the other was by the tail and it looked like they were casing her alive and my old man stepped out side with a pistol in each hand and shot 5 or 6 coons and our neighbor called our house and asked what the hell was going on( it was about 330 in the morning).

Live trap and a garbage can full of water.  When you catch the coon.  Drop the cage into the water.  Come back 20 minutes later and it is taken care of.  No shooting involved.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
