I'm betting it's too early.  In Oregon we did't usually see any until at least the 4th of July.  I'm assuming Westport would be much the same.
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Whenever it happens would you mind posting a sort of tutorial for dummies, I think fresh canned tuna is so much better then the store bought stuff and you always have the best easiest ways to get it done, I never canned anything before but would love to give it a try !!

$1.99 - $2.99 per pound usually, plus another 50 cents to get it loined.

Definitely too early for fresh tuna, as others have said start looking in early July, prices will be higher then though I'd wait until August for a good price.

As soon as they start coming in large quantities let us know I would be willing to drive over for a couple coolers full.

The whole fleet is out tuna fishing most ran down off the columbia but they will be selling off the docks this week end. Kids left last night and called a while ago and had 75 fish this morning already. The prawn boats on float 9 are out and will be in this week-end they said. I don;t know the price.

We got an e-mail from The Seafood Connection, and he's selling tuna for $2.59 per pound and it you want him to clean them its $3.00 per fish.

We're looking to get some this year, along with the sea bass, ling cod,  crab and salmon this year (I hope)
