attention SW WA area duck hunters

I was thinking of buying a pallet of shotgun shells.

I priced xperts #2 2 3/4 1 1/8 last year and they were around $6.50
I haven't check since this time last year.

there is 30 cases per pallet.

I know I will take 10 or 15.

I would be open to other brands.  Remington, Federal blue box, estate.
I am open to 1 1/8 or 1 1/4

I am set on 2 3/4'' maybe 3'' if the price is low enough.
I am set on #2


Anyone interested is 15-20 cases?

If push comes to shove I will take 15 cases myself.

THAT is the way to buy ammo! I normally buy 3" so its not what i would use... Have you ever priced out Kent rounds?

Lol I keep telling him to price Kents. I burn about 5 cases a year. But I won't shoot experts.

Hmmmmm.....  I'm a big fan of the 3" Fiocci and I like the Federal blue box in 3" also. 

I like the idea but I'll have to think about it.  I use more on the order of 2 to 2-1/2 cases a year.  Not sure I want a 5 year suply on hand?  Or do I?

My favorite round is Kens 3" #3's i rarely find the damn things...  Buying by the several case is definitely the way to go... I wish i had the cash to buy 5 case and get in on a deal like that...

I don't know to many guys that are shooting the 2-3/4" shells for ducks anymore.  Most everyone uses 3" with a few that shoot only 3-1/2" for ducks.  The Winchesters work fine, kill lots of ducks with them.  I do however prefer the Kent's and typically shoot #2.  I had purchased 6 or 7 cases last year.  I may have two cases left.

2 3/4 work just as well for me.  I am not interested in going 3''.

I don't really like kents as they have put a really poor taste in my mouth because I seem to have more problems with duds when they get wet.

I can price kent 2 3/4'' #2 1 1/16, 1 1/8, 1 1/4 if anyone is interested.

A local ma and pa shop down by me carries Kent 3" 3's. I usually start with that load early season and bump to 3.5" 2s towards Dec when I move toward divers. My guns pattern the heavy loads better then the 3".

It can be done BH45 one year i got a smoking deal on a few boxes of 2.75 Steel #6... I actually limited out on those a few times. They were close tho.

Lots of places the hunter can only take 25 shells.  So no sky busting or go home early.

Reading some of these shell use stories per year has me confused.  When in school I hunted 3-4 days per week jumping ducks, pheasants, and hunting geese and never came close to shooting a case on the best years.  8 boxes 200 loads that's a lot of shooting in the Field.  Even 50% at the plate that's 100 birds.

I went through a case of ten gauge and two of 12. Can't hit em if ya don't shoot and I'm a 3" man myself.

Shoot more divers or sea ducks and those numbers go out the window. I also leave boxes in my buddies boats, on purpose as a thank you. Plus my wife hunts. I don't actually shoot that many shells. Although I was in the field like 70 days this year.
