My draw turned out to be the West Wenaha! Second choice behind Dayton, but not complaining   :)  My brother drew same tag a couple years ago, steeeeeeep, but what a hunt it was! He harvested a big heavy 6x6, love that unit.

If you are up scouting around Table Rock LO this summer stop in and say hello. I'll be there after July 1 until September...I might even spot some elk from there.  :chuckle:

there's a couple of landowners you can pay for access that will put you in the same place as some monsters, but it isn't cheap.

Only landowner I've heard of in West Wenaha is the Umatilla National Forest?

I hunted that unit last year with my brother and I did not see any private property where we were at.

:chuckle: Last time I checked he was a private landowner that charges to much to go on his land  ;)

Good luck on the tags! No bull for me this year so I'm going to wish you luck and be as supportive as I can!! *censored*s  :bash:  :chuckle:

I guess Teepee is one of those pay-Uncle-Sam-to-park kind of sites, isn't it.  I see on the Umatilla National Forest site that they are planning on implementing this pay-to-park at 12 more trailheads and 12 more campsites in the Forest.  Anybody know more info?

Oh, yeah.  Good luck on the tag!
