You would think with all the money they make from the raffle, they would let the sheep hunt winners hunt  in any area that is open in 2012, not just the ones with two tags.
Beacause if they did that then they would have to open them to the auction tag holder as well, so potentially three rams could be taken out of one unit, which is what they are trying to avoid. I am glad its this way. :twocents:
I don't believe that. Any of those areas that have had one one tag in them can get by just fine with an extra ram or two taken out every now and then. Not every hunter is going to hold out for that 190 sheep or even pick the swakane as his hunt area. You can't stockpile game. The Umtanum is a prime example of that.

And when the bio's believe those areas can afford a hunt like that they will change the season to reflect it, that is why they make changes every three years. Right now its not a good idea and I stand behind them. :twocents:

In my opinion 25 late modern tags in the Entiat is too many too, I'd like to see it reduced to 10, 15 at the most.

To take it one step further, I would like to see one unit out of the Methow and one in Chelan change to permit only. It would be nice to see the trophy potential of a migratory area with limited pressure.

Theres a krap load of deer in the Methow if you listen to Fitkin. The Alta unit will never be the same with the additional special permits the past couple years.

The guy who posts on the web site is on vacation, but the guy who collects the data is not. I called him and he sent me these data.

I was out shopping for some gear earlier today, gave into temptation and bought 2 more for Westside Elk. I'm still no where near last years purchases.

Haven't bought a single one yet.   Money is just too tight, and I am just that unhappy with their money grabbing
