Captain I was told about this on Sat. while up at our cabin in Winthrop but I was told that a bear also ate part of the deer and took the head. Glad to hear you still have the deer really sucks about the head though especially if someone took the head. Your daughter shot a real fine buck.

While you are at it tell her she is welcome (with parental supervision) to stop by deer camp anytime. We'll get her a cup 'o chocolate and would love to hear her tell us the story in person.

Captain if a bear did steal the head I have a couple suspects for your daughter to look at. When you take the right turn off of East chewuch rd. to go to silverline resort if you look across the river that's our 5 acres right there on the river. And I just got these picture's last couple weeks. Both bears have been down there the last 2 years we have lots of wild blue berries and choke cherries they like.

Is it illegal to put a bounty on a no good deer head from a little girl stealing thieving bear?

I'll give $20 bucks to the hunter that bags the bear and returns the head!

That is just so cool! My daughter got her first deer at 12 as well. She'll be going for 4 deer in 4 years this season. Man it goes fast! We're B'hammers also.

Congrats to your daughter atleast she got to keep the most important part, the memories.  I still can't understand why you would take anyones antlers, do they tell people they harvested the animal?  What pride can you take in something you did not harvest yourself.

Hey rich, its jamie. Cool deal on her getting her first deer. make sure she lets caleb know that hers was a buck. Sucks on the horns though. Dad and i are looking to join up with you guys next year. Cierra wants to hunt. Congrats to her and caleb on their first deer. And good for you and ryan for getting them out hunting.
