Pocket knife is considered a weapon now.  I know they have a no knife policy at cub scout camp.  Not sure if it the same for boy scouts.  I know I carry one every day.

What a sad world we live in today. The Lib tards have taken away almost everything I ever knew growing up. I still have the baby boomer ideals. This new GenX is killing our country.

I carry one every day also. Even got my wife to carry one.

As a word of caution, if you head to a Mariner or Seahawk game, make sure the clip isn't showing. They wont let you in unless you throw it away or take it back to your car.

I view it more as a necessary tool. There are so many times throughout the day where I need mine. But just from a safety stand point, Being around horse's you never know when you might need a knife. Or in the case of a car accident.... using the butt end of the knife in your fist can break through a window allowing escape or if a seat belt might need to be cut.

Again, we villainize the tool and not the behavior. Sad.

Heck, you can fly on an airplane with one now that TSA relaxed their rules.  I carry mine all the time.

When we were kids we would "forget" our knives at Christmas and Grandpa would almost always give us another one so we could open our presents.  Wish I knew where some of those went.   :'(  I used to carry one most of the time, just got out of the habit somehow.

I usually cary at least two, did get stopped twice, county jail would not allow any and the SSA would not allow a 4" or larger, both were Swiss Army knives. I'm all for the HAS allowing them on flights, after all, that's all those guys had to stop the one guy on 911.

I have a couple of cigar boxes full of old promotional pocket knives from the 30's, 40's and 50's from my Grandfather.  I have some Purina knives that he picked up at the feed store when Purina was just starting out 80 or so years ago.  The same with Case knives.  He collected but used most of them, some are unused and stashed away.

I've noticed most men over forty carry a pocket knife and most men under forty don't. I am 38 and do but most of my friends don't.

I'm under 40 and carry at least one knife everyday have since I was 13. I feel naked without it I seldomly forget my phone or wallet but I never forget my knife. My gpa always had a jack knife in his pocket and my father always carries one. I was taught growing up that as a man you should never be without you wallet keys belt and most importantly a knife, a sharp knife, especially since I grew up on a farm you never knew when you would need

I won't leave the house without one

Got to have a knife! I carry a SOG Flash in my pocket, but have multiple knives in my vehicles, and a leather man wave or SOG Multi tool in each vehicle and boat, pack, or jacket, LOL

Last time I counted, I think it was 14 Leatherman/SOG Multi's to many pocket knifes to count,

A small single blade stainless currently.  Scraped the crud out of a bucket, removed plastic from a pallet and cut twine yesterday.  It has a small arc mark on the blade and I find they do not grow very will when I plant them.
