Just saw our first turkey babies this mourn in. Didn't mean to thread jack with the turkeys.

Around here, still seeing quite a few quail paired up. Seeing more and more lone pheasant roosters though. Haven't seen turkey hens for a bit. Hopefully this cold rainy weather will move on now and things will be good for all the hatches. We've had frost yesterday.

Riding the bike path in Richland to work a week ago, I saw a nice batch of 10 - 12 little pheasants with Mom and another 10 - 12 little fuzzball quail with both Mom and Dad. That was about two days before the rains...
Hope a few of them make it!!

I've seen a few of both quail and pheasants around, they sure have a tough start in life with the cooler/wet weather lately and the pheasants were being harassed by a raven, hopefully it will still turn out to be a good hatch.

Things are not looking good. Have seen several hens in the past couple of days but no chicks. Still waiting to run into some quail or turkey chicks/hens.
