Pretty stock 7mmfan. Nothing like wood for pure aesthetics.

Thank you sir. The stock is what sold me on the gun, I was already set on the caliber. I also have M77 MKII in 7mm Mag just like yours and my brother shoots the 270 version just like yours. They are "bullet proof" guns. Everyone has to have a pretty one too though  :)
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

1st choice is Browning A-bolt medallion with boss in 300wsm topped with Zeiss glass. Then Kimber Montana in .308 with Leupold VX3. Depending on mood, might go with FNAR .308 with Leupold Mark IV scope.

Bow is the first choice on each species most of the time.  But with the multiseason tags now I get to carry a gun on occasion.  When deer hunting with the rifle it depends on whether it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday...or how I feel that day.  Except for the gun the wife wants to shoot Saturday the safe is filled with plenty of choices sighted in and ready to go depending on my mood.  .257 Roberts or the 7mm are probably my favorites, but my new Sako 270WSM just might become the new rainy day gun of choice.  For bear it's an easy decision as that new to me 325 WSM Kimber matched with Zeiss scope is pure 3/4 MOA sweetness.

I'm thinking there is an RBros in my future.  When that happens I'm expecting my desire to mix things up may change drastically. :dunno:
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Been using a Ruger M77 in .270 Winchester since "86". Put a lot of meat in the freezer with it.
