Had a good 2 days with the daughter and her guy on a muzzy hunt. First muzzy buck for her, and second deer ever for him. After hunting the entire archery season and seeing very few bucks myself........turns out I am a better "guide" than hunter.  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Got this guy on third day of muzzy season. I was fishing when my buddy saw him across the river. I took the canoe over and met him face to face at 20 yards! He walked into some timber and up the hill. Ranged him at 56 yards and dropped him! My buddy and I threw him in the canoe and got him back to camp.

That's a nice buck

100 yards 54 cal. 2:00 pm. My dad was just trying to give me some tuna belly he smoked as I was finishing my granola bar, was just about to reach into the bag and he says “big buck right here in front of us!” I could not see it due to me kneeling, also we where behind the only sage brush up on a high spot. Just by the look on his face I thought I better get ready! I threw my vortex down in the sand🤪 and peaked around the sage getting ready to call his bluff only to see this buck and a 2 pt less than 60 yards running in front of me. I got on him and told my dad to stop him. After a couple whistles he stopped and I touched one off......and SsMACK!! Buck dropped out of sight and my dad asked if I had hit him since he was looking at the 2 pt and trying to make it grow an extra pt! I don’t think he thought I would shoot that far since I told him a wanted nothing more than a 50 yard shot. My first kill with my muzzle loader and couldn’t be more happy. Good luck to all you guys!!
Ps bucks came in straight down wind, thank you hecs and asat!
