No goat tag for me :(
Wish these other states would learn from Idaho on a quick draw turn around

Flight in, either a float trip or pack trip to get into animals, be in excellent shape. Huge, steep, nasty country.

If going outfitted, I just asked Dave at bighorn outfitters and he suggested Heart X Outfitters or Middle Fork Lodge.

:yeah: Congratulations on the tag ! I have looked at that quite a bit because of good odds. That can be a really tough hunt with pretty low success for a sheep tag. You probably already knew that putting in. wish I had more information for you. Good luck !

I am 42 and in great shape running 6-9 miles a day currently. I was averaging 12-15 miles a day last summer. I am a teacher so I have the time for three months of intense training and prep. I have had success DIY in the past and can’t stomach 10-12k for a guide. This will probably be my last hurrah at a DIY of this nature. Any one want to tag along or go scouting this summer?

You wouldn’t have to pay for a guide. Packer should be 3k or so. Or rent lamas.

Try and contact a bio for more specific information.

 I figured you had a plan! I wouldn't consider a guide if I drew that tag either. Pm me I would be interested in at least comparing notes but I will be checking it out  for maybe deer or elk . The plan is to check out some new areas this summer and the very least I would pass on any sheep info I might find
