Late rifle on a wet day.

Nice job! What's the story there? is that an "as it lays" photo?

My 10 year old daughter shot this one in Idaho her last day to hunt after passing up tons of does trying to get a buck. We saw 7 bucks just couldn’t get a shot.

GREAT Pic! Looks like there was some giggles with that one. Congrats to ya both.
My daughter used to love dissecting and learning about the parts on a deer when she got one(especially the brain)

I feel incredibly blessed to have gotten this tasty little Idaho spike!  I wasn't able to hunt at all last year because my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in September.  We lost him two months later. This last year has been incredibly difficult trying to help my mom as much as possible and keep running a business with my husband. Life being what it is, I was unable to fill my WA deer and elk tags, and my ID elk tag. Finally I just took a 3 day trip to ID by myself, slept in the truck and hunted from a pop up blind. These were the only antlers I saw all season but I am so grateful to have at least one tag filled and some venison in the freezer again! PTL!
It must be a poor life that achieves freedom from fear.

Sometimes it's hunts like this that are just what we need. Glad you were able to get out there and get it done and that should be some great eating venison.
