Well, my son drew the 2122 archery elk tag for unit 44. I drew the 1008 buck tag tor unit 18, but won't be able to take the tag. To many hunts this fall (hate to say it). Gonna be a push to utilize the 44 archery tag, but we have to give it a go. Have a friend who spends a lot of time in that unit and he's offering to help us out.  Says that he sees a lot of bulls during the rut.

He says it's a top 5 unit in ID. Unfortunately, I don't have an opinion, as we've not spent much time in it. Gotta do some research now!  Good luck to everyone who drew a tag.

Thinking of returning my unit 15 white-tailed deer. If postmarked by June 30 would get 50% refund.  I probably won't make this hunt this year. :dunno:

I'm guessing after August 1st since that is the last day to buy special draw tags.  :dunno:

I’m only shooting a buck if it’s 220 or better…looking for a challenge.

swing and a miss for an august rifle bull tag. Wife would have killed me if I'd drawn though because season opens the day were moving back to Montana.

With all the moisture this year why mess around with the little ones?
