Chanterelles 2022
« on: July 09, 2022, 03:32:42 PM »
Anyone found any yet?  I see a few getting picked on the coast.  I'm going to check my early spot Monday or Tuesday.

I didn't go out. I've been busy with loan business, thankfully.

A buddy found a handful of buttons a few days ago.  Anyone else found any?  I haven't been able to get out and look again.

Was at the Puyallup safeway the other day and they had a big tote full. Checked a couple spots this last weekend and didn't see any.

I'm not a big fan of lobster mushrooms.  But they are better than no mushrooms and went nice with steak tonight.

I think that fresh lobster shrooms are great! Iíve found that chanterelles keep falling farther and farther down the list of mushrooms I enjoy. They are the easiest to harvest tho! Nice job! I think even this tiny bit of moisture should have the shrooms popping

No chants today.  But found a few lobsters.  Also found some western varnished conks I'm going to dry.
