Odds are long but happens every year. Few of them end up in cages. I have a theory I am going to try when I get some shop time.I see them in and out of steel culverts all the time. I bought a chunk of culvert to turn into a live trap to see if I can get some yotes in it.

Drove a little bit to some cover, jumped out to out the sneak on and no coyote. Snuck closer and he was on the other side of the road making good time away from me. Went and checked his tracks and he used a culvert to shoot under the highway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Set it right in dry culverts. I have considered this. Most culverts around here are 30" so I thought about building this to slip in that size. Haven't gotten around to it.
You’re officially the coyote cage man !
