Seeing the fewest deer, elk, and moose on my property in 105 than I have in the 8 years I have owned it. Nothing bigger than a 3pt WT. Fawns can be counted on half a hand. Often see a large cougar I would like an opportunity on. Next trip I'll just concentrate on a packrat setting up an estate in the old storage cabin.

Lotta creeks and moving water compared to low land deer getting stagnant ponds and seeps . I know a guy in Winchester, Idaho which is 4,000’ said they found a ton of dead deer which he said was odd for ehd outbreak.
Heard quite a few people are not going to hunt their youth doe tags or doe tags in general - to give them a chance. Not a bad idea actually
As of mid September im only seeing 3 cases in whitman county majority in stevens and spokane
We can all walk around opening day tomorrow, tripping over dead bucks . Should be GREAT.
