My father in law is in town visiting us from Alaska in St. Maries right now. I took him out last night to show him a few animals and we literally only saw half a dozen doe. Normally in my area you would see well over a hundred animals. There was a few spots you could just smell death along the route I took. Its abosultely crazy how hard it is hitting certain areas.

Hit the Palouse hard. Buddy called and said all the white tails are dead on his place. Dad said he found all big bucks dead that were in his hay fields. Bummer. I haven’t killed one since 2019 and this was gonna be the year.
I went to a couple places by the house and got up in elevation from 2,600' to 3,000" - 4,000' and the deer seem to be healthy and doing well
