Always!!!!!  My everyday firearm is a 92F with Crimson Trace laser grips sighted in at 25 yards. I put about 45 rounds a month through it.

That's actually my New Years Resolution........To get my concealed weapons permit. Right now I have a S&W 38 speacial +p with Speer GoldDot 135 gr GDHP loads. It's small enough and handy enough for carrying concealed. My Ruger Vaqueros are just too bulky. I need to get my application done.

Yep I do. If you have to ask why then you'll never understand. The how and what is my business. Lets put it this way each weapon has a different body placement.
For the record it's concealed

Sisu sorry bout the spelling. and as for the why, I also carry and I understand why I do but diffrent people have diffrent life styles. For instance some may live on a large ranch and carry a single action .44 everyday to fend off wild critters others may live inner city and carry a uzi to ward off the gangbangers. I just have an interest so I asked, also I am trying to get enough posts so it doesnt say greenhorn next to my name so I been kinda gabby JB

OK jbd, now I understand.
Carry because of some things that happend to us as younger adults thinking the world was a safe place if you left everyone alone and just went your merry way. After a couple of encounters of the close kind we started packing.
We believe in carrying 357s and 45 ACP. The way we figure that into the equation is shoot to knock down ASAP. As to the how that depends on the pistol or revolver being used.
As for your comment of ranch packing from what I've seen in Montana and Idaho most of the ranchers and farmers carry 223, 22LR 22-250,30.06, 30-30 in gun racks in the pickup, or farming rig.
Sorry about the grip about the spelling, but I am the world's worst speller so I use spell check ALL the time. Did not mean a thing about it.

Yep. S&W M&P .40. With 16 rounds, I should be able to get the job done.  ;)

I carry a SP101 ruger 5 shot .357, small and easy to conceal. If I need more than 5 I have real problems.
