I've watched this dude go from a forkhorn to this 4x5 in about 4 years.  He eludes us every dang year.  Only coming out at night.  He does have crab claw fronts, and it's hard to see on the video, but he has one sticker point that makes the 5th point.  Big bodied Blacktail.

Gary
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted. If one were to present the sportsman with the death of the animal as a gift he would refuse it. What he is after is having to win it, to conquer the surly brute through his own effort and skill with all the extras that this carries with it: the immersion in the countryside, the healthfulness of the exercise, the distraction from his job. ~ Jose Ortega y Gasset

Hopefully get back on this guy and check out his growth next year. Not a giant but I love his unique mass.

I probably could do a better job if I pulled the original photo, but here’s a screen shot off my IPad.

Awhile ago I posted a Whitetail and Boneaddict deleted it. He wanted to keep this thread about Muleys and Blacktails.
