Won't the Winthrop buck taken during rifle season beat this one?

Here is the terminology issue..........  I guess they can all work it out.    Nontypical modern 283+  Archery 203 and change.  Here is the catch, don't think the state has a velvet category.  ONLY POPE.   Correct me if I am wrong.

Typical is 203 and change as well archery which is the record I was referring to being broken.   I saw it as a 180 typical.

I still don't see it. The left side g3 is 12" and the g4 is 11.7" and they are 4+" longer than the 7.7" drop tine? Those pics are deceiving all over the place.

I have some "official" score sheets myself and mine are measured in 1/8th's, what program is he using?

I am probably wrong but I still don't see it, great buck though. :twocents:

Look at the differences as well.   I see several discrepancies - is someone bad at math?

If the hunter decides to peel the velvet the buck he would score around 208.  So yes it would be the new state record non typical archery.  But the hunter does not care about books or records he just wants his trophy to look like it did the day he killed it and he is not stripping the velvet.

huntnphool just admit u were wrong holy crap man the buck was scored by an official pope & young scorer the guy has been doing it for years im pretty sure he is a little better at it than you! you have not even seen the buck!

I guess it makes sense if those are "1/8ths"?

I have seen a scorer do this before, the number after the decimal is the number in eighths so 3.6=3 6/8 and 4.2=4 2/8 which makes the difference 4/8 or .4

Yeah, it actually makes it easier when adding it all up.  I adopted the same method when I do scoring.
